PDC Competition Team
Why Join PDC Competition Team?
Joining our competition dance team is a wonderful opportunity to develop technical dance skills while making great friends and building confidence. Our dance team students experience the joy of performing at various regional dance competition events in the area and work together with their team to learn and grow as dancers. PDC has won numerous awards at both the regional and national levels including: Most Entertaining, Best Choreography, High Score, Top Studio, Crowd Pleaser, and many more!
Our Company has over 100 amazing team dancers spread out over three levels! We are always looking to expand and include other outstanding dancers that want to be pushed to their full potential.
Level placement is based on instructor and director evaluation. This is a full school-year commitment, September through June, and requires regular attendance in classes and rehearsals.

Petite
This is our introductory level team. Dancers will compete 2-3 routines (PDC staff will select dance styles) at 3 Regional Competitions. Petite dancers will not participate in Nationals and will not be eligible for Solos/Duets/Trios. Petite dancers will have technique/rehearsals 1 day per week. (Acro/Tumbling not included)
Apprentice
This is our transition level team. These dancers have a little more experience and are ready for more of a challenge. These dancers will perform in 3-5 group routines. They will be allowed to participate in Solos, Duets and Trios and will compete at 5 Regional Competitions. They will NOT compete at Nationals. Apprentice dancers will have technique class/rehearsals 2 days per week. (Acro/Tumbling not included)
Company
This is our most advanced level. These dancers have the opportunity to compete in various styles, small groups, large groups, lines, productions and are allowed solos/duets/trios. Company dancers will participate in 5 Regional and 1 National competition. Company level dancers will have technique classes/rehearsals 3 days per week. (Acro/Tumbling not included)
