Megan Vandergrift
Dance Teacher
Megan began her dance journey when she was 4 years old dancing at Steps to Grace Dance Academy. She danced there for quite a while recreationally and then switched studios and began competing with Turning Point Dance Company when she was 10. She competed there for a while until she made the switch to Prestige Dance Company when they opened her freshman year! She competed with PDC all four years of high school and loved it! Some of the styles she competed in included jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and tap!
Megan is now back at PDC teaching some of the younger competition dancers and assisting in a few other classes! She is having such an incredible time sharing her love for dance with younger dancers!
Outside of the studio, she is furthering her education at Rock Valley College, where she is working to get an associates in arts with a focus in education. She hopes one day to become an elementary school teacher or a special education teacher!
Megan loves being apart of these dancers journeys and is so thankful she gets to help foster their love for dance!
